Ne l’aura che trema… 25-26/09/09
Two concerts presenting current projects of Richard Craig alongside Johan Zakrisson, Pontus Langendorf and Juan Parra Cancino. The first evening focuses on collaborations with composers in Stockholm and abroad and serves as a preview to a concert in TRANSPORT, Seattle, USA, where Richard will be lecturing and performing.
The second concert opens a new chapter with improvisation. With Johan Zakrisson (piano) and Pontus Langendorf (percussion). Taking sounds that are discarded, or rendered barren in classical music, the trio use this as a starting point for broken gestures and distant resonances, building upon the rubble of what is left from music past. Juan Parra then presents his own laptop improvisations, in what is his premiere performance in Sweden.
