— Richard Craig

Taking Klaus Huber’s Ein Hauch von unzeit ( Plainte sur la perte de la réflexion musicale – quelques madrigaux pour flûte seule) as a point of departure. Objection to the loss of musical thought, begins with familiar materials, but soon dissolves into a much more abstract surroundings

” One begins a stroll along a narrow, well marked path. Soon one loses one’s way, becomes lost in a labyrinth and loses all sense of direction and time. One gropes his way without direction or a goal. A piece for patience, for meditation, for freedom from strictly rigidly set schemes”

Klaus Huber, 1972
