The work was commissioned by Kathleen Gallacher, the Hope Scott Trust, and Richard Craig and due for premiere at the end of 2012.
Vale is conglomerate of a larger work for voice, flute/contrabass flute, piano and electronics Dying Words (resistance & vision part 2).
